I was reading an article in the website AZ CENTRAL.COM, about a 3 year old girl who was killed by a pick up truck. It is very sad, the little girl was playing with her friends and older brother in a parking lot. A man in a pick up truck hit her and drove away. The neighbors where able to describe the man that killed her and police did some drug test on the man. The man said "he didn't notice hitting something that small in a truck that big.”

I think that the man was lying, that he did notice when he hit her but got scared and left. I mean, how can you not notice you hit a little girl? The article also says “At this time, the investigation shows that the driver of the truck had no knowledge he had struck the victim in this incident. Charges are not expected to be filed in this case.”

Well, it isn't just the man's fault. The children's parents should look after them when playing outside. In a few minutes a child could be killed and their parents would not even know it. What a sad story. =-(
